Salvation Forfeited

“An hour ago I was informed that my Chemistry 16 has a grade of 2.25. I was expecting a 2.0.

It’s like this. Our instructor exempted me from taking the final exam, because according to her computations, I will get a 2.0, even if the computations were still uncomplete because she hadn’t started checking the laboratory part. Meanwhile, upon hearing this, I quickly tabulated my expected grades in other subjects, hoping I would make it to the College Scholar title. I needed a general weighted average of 1.75 to make it.

Well after seeing my grades at the CRS, I was shocked, and tried to recalculate the necessary grades to achieve College Scholarship, and I found out that I need a 0.5 to make it, a revelation which for me feels like I have fallen in a bottomless pit.

Great. Now my plans are shattered.”
